See the following sections for details: Vulnerable Products Cisco IOS XE Software This vulnerability affects multiple platforms running Cisco IOS XE Software and certain Cisco 5500-X Series Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA) running either Cisco ASA Software or Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software. The information in this document is based on these software and hardware versions: ASA Firepower modules (ASA 5506X/5506H-X/5506W-X, ASA 5508-X, ASA 5516-X ) running software version 5.4.1 and above. Even though their own IKv1 IPsec client is long since end of life it still works with even the latest ASA software. Cisco provides IPsec capability using both IKEv1 and IKEv2. The new ASA 5508-X and 5516-X provide midsize companies, branch offices and industrial environments with the same advanced malware protection and threat detection capabilities deployed by large enterprise organizations. We talked about the new models of Cisco ASA with FirePOWER services: the ASA 5508-X and 5516-X. In the previous articles, we introduces many topics about the new ASA 5506-X/SecurityPlus, 5506W-X & 5506H-X, especially the ASA 5506-X firewall, such as new features, main model comparison, start guide, etc. Of course, the new ASA 5508-X and ASA 5516-X are the members of Cisco ASA 5500-X series with FirePOWER Services.
